He is risen! The Scripture tells us that death has no dominion or power over Christ. He is life itself! Our Creator, our Redeemer, our Sustainer, and our Life! This morning we will be exploring the reality of the life of Christ in believers. Christ not only has paid for our sins with his death, but he lives within us today. His life becomes our life. Life means not only lungs that breathe and a heart that beats. It also means love, peace, joy, and purpose. There are two major ways of living the Christian life. One is to attempt in our own effort to obey all of the rules that God has commanded us to obey. We work hard but our work is in our strength and we find that we run out of patience, that we become legalistic and mean-spirited. The other way is the way of God, the way of the Spirit, the way that is taught in the Bible. We live the Christian life not by attempting it ourselves, but by letting Christ live in us and through us. This is the way of joy and life. Christ came that we might have life and have it in never-ending supply. We have life because we have Him! And He has us! Blessings this Easter! He is risen!
