Today I will begin my last sermon series as senior pastor of IBC Stuttgart. I have loved preaching the word of God on Sunday mornings at IBC. Thank you, church, for giving me the opportunity to share the word of God with you each Sunday.
For the next seven Sundays we will be examining the Seven Letters to the Seven Churches of Asia in Revelation 2-3. This is a powerful passage to help us stay fixed on the will of God for his church during the Church Age.
Today we will be examining the loveless church of Ephesus and looking at the importance of loving the Lord.

Can you relate to the problem of the church of Ephesus, being busy in the work of the Lord but yet forgetting about the Lord himself? What does it mean when Christ says that he holds the stars in his hand, and that he walks among the golden lampstands? When a church stops loving Christ, what will happen to that church?
